Google Blog Search Relaunch

Some very cool news yesterday on the official Google blog. They have announced the relaunch of Google blog search. My first impression???
Sweet!
“Today, we’re pleased to launch a new homepage for Google Blog Search so that you too can browse and discover the most interesting stories in the blogosphere. Adapting some of the technology pioneered by Google News, we’re now showing categories on the left side of the website and organizing the blog posts within those categories into clusters, which are groupings of posts about the same story or event.”
Using some of the technology they used in Google news? Rock on! This baby is built for speed and performance in the Blogosphere.
What does this mean for most business blogs and company bloggers? It means that there is yet another tool that the big G is using to monitor your content and bring it in front of qualified searches… People looking for your products and services.
The new design is extremely nice and easy to navigate. Overall, I give it an A+ as of this writing. With some use over the next few days I may change that grade based on the search results it renders, but for now, I am blog search stoked!
What are your thoughts on the relaunch of Google Blog Search?

Thanks for the heads up, I used to find tons of good info searching Google Blogs (in fact had a javascript bookmarklet dedicated for it). Anyway, good news for bloggers and researchers.
