It’s Sunday, and my regular readers know that I’m supposed to be spending my Sundays with my wife.

But since she needed to catch up on a few things this afternoon, I popped in here to make a quickie blog post.

So, what I thought we’d cover today are some shining examples of great corporate and business blogs. This is by no means a complete list. In fact, my list is very short. So if you have a corporate or company blog that deserves mention, please make a note of it in the comments below.

1. Nuts About Southwest

Probably one of the best examples of a successful corporate blog, all about Southwest Airlines. Here’s the latest post at NAS.

2. Marriott on the Move

Marriott International’s blog. An extremely good example of how corporate blogging should be done. They don’t talk much about their products, but focus more on things that matter to their customers. You can read the latest post from CFO Arne Sorenson by clicking here.

3. GM Fastlane

Another super Corporate blog. Great articles, updated frequently, and super informative. You can read the latest post about Corvette racing here.

4. The Garmin Blog

Another extremely well maintained corporate blog. Full of information regarding uses for Garmin’s navigation products, as well as other products they feel their readers might enjoy. I’m not a client, I’ve never purchased any of their products. But I do read their blog from time to time. You can read the latest blog post at Garmin here.

5. Dreamhost

A hosting company with a sense of humor. Gotta love it! Seriously, Dreamhost understands how corporate blogging should work. Having a load of fun with their readers at every turn. You can read the latest Dreamhost post about making money by clicking here.

OK, I realize that five corporate blogs is truly the short list. But my wife has popped her head into my office twice now. Giving me that beady eyed look that says she just KNEW I’d end up blogging all afternoon….
